Giraffes

“In regions once considered prime habitats, their numbers have dropped by up to 95%, and giraffe have lost nearly 90% of their historical range over the last three centuries.” – Giraffe Conservation.org

As I study through the endangered list, there are soooo many. I realized the scope of many species,so I decided to study and publicize the plight of giraffes, I wanted to diversify, and surprisingly, the African elephants definitely have more numbers…I did not realize how much more, I thought maybe they were at least neck and neck…

Maybe giraffes should start hanging out with elephants; giraffe look-out, elephant defense?

Right when I saw this sight, I remembered that at one time, giraffe and zebra were sought after almost as much as elephant ivory…the people that run this conservancy, Stephanie and Julian Fennessy are certainly pioneers in my opinion. Everybody pretty much, knows the plight of elephants, but hardly anyone knows the about the giraffe, sticking their neck out daily, just trying survive. Beautiful beasts existing among the worlds chaos.
